Greg Brown was raised to value public and community service. His father has served as Santa Rosa County’s Property Appraiser since first elected in 2000, while his mother is a longtime public school teacher in the county.

That’s why, at a young age, Greg has compiled an impressive resume of personal and professional involvement that has made a difference for his neighbors in Northwest Florida. He gained valuable experience as an aide at both the state and federal levels of government – working as a regional assistant for former U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez, as coordinator of constituent services for Congressman Jeff Miller, and as senior legislative assistant for State Senator Durell Peaden. His community memberships and activities include the United Way of Santa Rosa County (Board of Directors), Santa Rosa Young Professionals and the local Republican executive committee.

A Pace High School graduate, Brown attended Pensacola Junior College, the University of West Florida and has earned his state license in real estate sales. He and his wife, Jennifer (Risen) of Pace, are active members of Olive Baptist Church.
